The rules of the road
Plain-English terms for using Outworx Hooks — what we promise, what we expect, and what happens when things go sideways.
Last updated: April 18, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Outworx Hooks, a webhook-monitoring service operated by Outworx For Web Design (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Outworx Hooks on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. The service
Outworx Hooks monitors webhook deliveries, surfaces failures, sends alerts, and provides an SDK to capture event telemetry. Features and limits for each plan are described on the pricing page. We may add, remove, or change features over time; for material reductions we'll give reasonable notice.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
- Keep your credentials and API keys secure. You're responsible for activity under your account, including any team members you invite.
- Don't share accounts. Use the Team feature (Business plan) to give multiple people access.
- Keep your billing and contact information accurate.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to process content that's illegal, defamatory, or infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical protection measures beyond what the applicable open-source license permits. Our SDK is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1; see the LICENSE file for permitted use.
- Resell, white-label, or use Outworx Hooks to build a competing webhook-monitoring service.
- Overload or abuse the service (spam, DDoS, automated scraping).
- Use the service to send unsolicited commercial messages or violate anti-spam laws.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. In serious cases we may do so without prior notice.
4. Fees and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days' notice.
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees until you cancel.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated. If you downgrade mid-cycle, the new plan takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Taxes (VAT, sales tax) are your responsibility unless we're required by law to collect them on your behalf.
- Unpaid accounts may be downgraded to Free or suspended after a grace period.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep Outworx Hooks reliably available, but we don't commit to an uptime SLA on Free or Pro plans. Scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, and third-party outages (e.g. Supabase, Stripe, Vercel) may cause downtime. Business-plan customers can request a separate SLA agreement.
6. Intellectual property
- The Outworx Hooks dashboard, backend, and brand are our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription.
- The Outworx Hooks SDK is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 — see the LICENSE file in the SDK repository for the exact terms. You may use the SDK with our service for free; you may not use it to offer a competing webhook-monitoring service.
- You retain ownership of your content (webhook payloads, metadata). You grant us a license to process it only as needed to provide the service.
7. Data processing
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. If you process personal data of your end users through the service, a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
8. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion is immediate and permanent; we can't restore deleted data.
- We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practical.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment for fees already incurred, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Webhook monitoring is an observability tool. We are not responsible for the behavior of the webhook endpoints you monitor, for missed events due to outages, or for business decisions you make based on the data we display.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including claims by your end users related to content you process through the service.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we'll notify active users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
